Tyler Johnson scored a pair of goals, and the Tampa Bay Lightning cruised to a 4-2 win over the visiting Chicago Blackhawks on Friday night.
Brayden Point and Ryan Callahan also scored for Tampa Bay, which beat Chicago for the second time in five weeks to sweep the regular-season series. Nikita Kucherov notched three assists, and Erik Cernak had two.
Artem Anisimov and Jonathan Toews each scored for the Blackhawks in a losing effort. Chicago has won only two of eight games since firing longtime head coach Joel Quenneville and replacing him with Jeremy Colliton.
Lightning goaltender Louis Domingue made 30 saves to improve to 7-3-0.
On the opposite end of the rink, Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford stopped 25 shots but fell to 5-8-1.
Tampa Bay jumped to a 4-1 lead after a frenetic first period.
Johnson tallied back-to-back goals to open the scoring. Kucherov found him in the slot for the first goal 29 seconds into the game. Johnson struck again less than seven minutes later on a give-and-go play with Point.
It was Johnson's second multi-goal performance of the season. He notched a hat trick Oct. 16 against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Kucherov set up another goal when he fed a pass to Point for a one-timer to make it 3-0 midway through the first.
Chicago got on the scoreboard when Anisimov punched in a backhand shot for his third goal of the season and his first since Oct. 27. The 30-year-old is coming off three straight 20-goal campaigns but has struggled this season.
Tampa Bay put an exclamation mark on the first period when Callahan scored with 5:08 remaining. He skated toward the left circle, stopped quickly and lifted a wrist shot past Crawford for his third goal.
Toews scored on a rebound to cut Chicago's deficit to 4-2 with 1:11 to play in the second period. Domingue denied an initial shot by Duncan Keith but could not recover in time as Toews turned to his backhand for his 11th goal.
Tampa Bay improved to 9-3-0 on home ice. Chicago dropped to 3-7-2 on the road.
