SENATORS 2, CANADIENS 1 (OT): Defenseman Filip Kuba scored 3:07 into overtime as host Ottawa moved into first place in the Northeast Division by topping Montreal.
Colin Greening also scored and rookie Ben Bishop turned aside 13 shots for the Senators, who improved to 3-0-2 in their last five games and ended the Boston Bruins' 107-day reign atop the division.
In overtime, Kuba's slap shot from the top of the left faceoff circle beat All-Star Carey Price for his sixth goal.
Tomas Plekanec netted a shorthanded goal and Price finished with 31 saves for the Canadiens, who posted a 3-2 shootout victory over the Senators on Wednesday.
Plekanec opened the scoring 8:18 into the contest after wiring a slap shot from the slot which sailed over Bishop's glove for his 14th goal.
Greening leveled the game 6:27 into the third period after collecting a loose puck off a rebound in the slot and backhanding it past Price for his 15th goal.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Ottawa, which failed to convert on eight power-play opportunities, is 0 for 15 in its last four games. ... Montreal's Max Pacioretty saw his seven-game point streak come to an end. ...
