Falcons 19, Cowboys 13: Matt Ryan threw for 342 yards and host Atlanta reached the midway point of the season as the league's only unbeaten team.
Michael Turner rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown and Julio Jones and Roddy White each had over 100 yards receiving as the Falcons improved to 8-0 for the first time in franchise history.
Ryan completed 24 of 34 passes and guided his team on five straight drives of at least 60 yards starting with the final possession of the first half as Atlanta overcome an early 6-0 deficit to maintain a four-game lead atop the NFC South.
Turner's 3-yard touchdown in the opening minute of the fourth quarter and Matt Bryant's third field goal made it 16-6 with 7:49 to play, but Dallas responded with a six-play, 78-yard drive capped by Tony Romo's 21-yard scoring strike to Kevin Ogletree with 5:21 left.
Ryan then directed the Falcons on a 12-play, 66-yard march that was punctuated by Bryant's 32-yard field goal with 17 seconds to go to seal it.
Romo threw for 321 yards on 25-of-35 passing and Ogletree had three catches for 96 yards for Dallas (3-5), which lost its second straight to remain 2 1/2 games behind the NFC East-leading New York Giants.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Cowboys LB DeMarcus Ware had 1.5 sacks to give him 108.5 in his career and move him past Pat Swilling for 19th on the league's all-time list. ... Falcons WR White surpassed Terance Mathis (574) for the franchise record for career receptions with 577. ... Dallas TE Jason Witten had seven receptions and eclipsed Hall of Famer Michael Irvin (750) for the Cowboys' all-time mark with 754 catches. ... Ryan failed to throw a scoring pass, ending his streak at 22 consecutive games - the third-longest active streak in the NFL.
