Matt Cassel threw three touchdown passes – all in the first half – as the host Kansas City Chiefs routed the Tennessee Titans 34-14 on Sunday.

The Chiefs (10-5) won their first AFC West Division title since 2003 when the San Diego Chargers lost to the Cincinnati Bengals 34-20 later Sunday.

Kansas City will be going to the playoffs for the first time since 2006, and will host either the Baltimore Ravens or New York Jets in the first round.

Jamaal Charles had two touchdown catches and rushed for 77 yards and Dwayne Bowe had a 75-yard TD reception – his first score in four weeks – for the Chiefs, who led 31-7 at halftime.

Bowe had six catches for 153 yards, and leads the NFL with 15 touchdowns. Cassel finished 24 of 34 and threw for 233 of his 314 yards in the first half.

Eric Berry had a 54-yard interception return for a touchdown as the Chiefs improved to 7-0 at home.

The Titans’ Kerry Collins was 14 of 37 for 235 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. He moved past Joe Montana into ninth on the career completions list with 3,410 and also became the 12th quarterback in NFL history to surpass 40,000 yards passing (40,141).

Chris Johnson had 58 yards on 14 carries for the Titans (6-9).
