Kansas State used four first-half rushing touchdowns to run away to coast to a 52-0 win over Bowling Green on Saturday in Manhattan, Kan.

The Wildcats outgained the Falcons 521-140 in total offense.

After two meetings between the two schools, Kansas State (2-0) has outscored Bowling Green by a 110-0 margin.

Kansas State junior quarterback Skylar Thompson led the offense by completing 10 of 13 passes for 151 yards and two touchdowns, both to Malik Knowles.

Thompson was removed after one series in the second half, after the Wildcats seized a 38-0 lead at halftime. Three quarterbacks threw passes for Kansas State.

James Gilbert, a graduate transfer from Ball State, led the ground attack with 103 rushing yards on just eight carries. He also had two touchdown runs.

Jordon Brown and Harry Trotter, also grad transfers from North Carolina and Louisville, respectively, also scored touchdowns on the ground, as did true freshman Jacardia Wright.

Nine different runners gained 333 yards on 58 carries, underscoring the Wildcats' commitment to the ground game in the pass-happy Big 12 Conference.

Devin Anctil, who didn't punt in the Wildcats' opening game against Nicholls, finally had a chance to punt late in the third quarter.

Bowling Green (1-1) struggled to find any offense, finishing with just five first downs. They were 0-for-11 on third down and failed both of their fourth-down attempts.

Quarterback Daruis Wade completed 8 of 19 passes for 79 yards.

Kansas State took the opening kickoff and marched 50 yards before stalling near the goal line, settling for a Blake Lynch 24-yard field goal.

After forcing a three-and-out on Bowling Green's first possession, the Wildcats took the ball at their own 16-yard line. Seven plays later, Brown was running away from the Falcons' defense on a 50-yard touchdown scamper.

Gilbert tacked on a 17-yard run for another touchdown, and K-State finished the first quarter with a 17-0 lead and held a 198-22 advantage in total yards.
