Jabari Walker had 15 points and 11 rebounds, Keeshawn Barthelemy had a game-high 16 points, and Colorado beat Oregon State 86-63 Saturday in Boulder, Colo.
Nique Clifford scored 15 points and Tristan da Silva added 10 points for Colorado, which led the entire way to end a three-game skid. Buffaloes coach Tad Boyle returned to the bench after missing Thursday's loss to Oregon due to a positive COVID-19 test on Tuesday.
Jarod Lucas finished with 13 points, Maurice Calloo had 14 and Glenn Taylor Jr. scored 15 points for the Beavers (3-17, 1-9 Pac-12). Oregon State has lost seven straight.
Colorado (14-9, 6-7) made its first eight shots from behind the 3-point line and 13 of its first 17 field goal attempts.
Walker made two from deep and scored eight points in the first five minutes of the game to help the Buffaloes jump out to a 13-0 lead. The Beavers missed their first six shots and finally got on the board when Dexter Akanno hit a 3-pointer with 14:52 left in the first half.
That began an 8-0 run for Oregon State, and it stayed within five points after two free throws by Taylor made it 16-11 with 12:41 left, but Colorado responded.
K.J Simpson made a 3-pointer and a layup, Julian Hammond III hit another from behind the arc and Evan Battey's layup capped a 10-0 run. Warith Alatishe broke the streak with a putback layup but Da Silva and Luke O'Brien hit consecutive 3-pointers to make it 32-13 with 9:03 left.
Calloo scored off of a Buffaloes turnover to make it 34-19 but Colorado went on a 10-3 run to go ahead by 22 with 3:34 remaining in the first half and led 49-27 at intermission.
Lucas opened the second half with a 3-pointer to cut the Beavers' deficit to 49-30, but Battey and Clifford made 3-pointers and Walker dunked off a miss to put the Buffaloes ahead 57-30. O'Brien's jumper in the lane made it 70-35, and Colorado closed it out.
