Josh Nebo hit for 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting to match his career high and four teammates also scored in double figures as Texas A&M defeated Mississippi State 87-75 on Saturday afternoon in Southeastern Conference action at College Station, Texas.
Wendell Mitchell added 20 points for the Aggies (14-12, 8-6 SEC) while Quenton Jackson scored 18, Savion Flagg hit for 15 points and Emanuel Miller tallied 10 for Texas A&M.
Tyson Carter led the Bulldogs (17-10, 8-6 SEC) with 19 points, and Robert Woodard II had 18, Reggie Perry scored 14 and Nick Weatherspoon added 11 before fouling out with 3:07 to play. The loss snapped a two-game winning streak for Mississippi State.
Texas A&M led by six points at halftime and by as many as 14 in the second half before the Bulldogs drew to within six points on three occasions, the latest with 1:03 left. But the Aggies made the plays they needed down the stretch, scoring the final six points and winning for the third straight outing.
It's the longest win streak of the year for the Aggies. Texas A&M outshot the Bulldogs 59.6 percent to 48.3 percent for the game.
The Aggies finished the first half on an 18-6 run that netted them a 36-30 lead at intermission. Miller had 10 points at the half to lead all scorers, with Nebo adding eight points for Texas A&M.

Weatherspoon and Perry led the Bulldogs with seven points each in the half.
Texas A&M ran its advantage to 65-51 after a Flagg 3-pointer with 8:08 to play via an 11-3 run. But the Bulldogs came to life, drawing to 71-65 on four straight 3-pointers by Carter, the fourth with 4:04 to play.
