Gary Trent Jr. scored eight straight points in the fourth quarter and finished with 33 points and the Toronto Raptors defeated the visiting Miami Heat 110-106 Tuesday night.
Trent has scored 30 or more points in five straight games, matching the team record set by DeMar DeRozan in 2016.
Fred VanVleet added 21 points for the Raptors, who have won three in a row and defeated the Heat in triple overtime on Saturday.
Pascal Siakam had 16 points and 14 rebounds for Toronto, OG Anunoby had 13 points, Precious Achiuwa 12 and Scottie Barnes 11.
Bam Adebayo had 32 points and 11 rebounds for the Heat, who have lost three straight. Jimmy Butler added 16 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds, Tyler Herro had 18 points and P.J. Tucker had 12.
The Heat led by as many as 15 points in the third quarter and took a three-point advantage into the fourth. The Raptors went on a 10-point run to take a five-point lead with 8:57 to play.
Miami came back with six straight points to lead by one with 7:35 to go. Trent made two straight 3-pointers to put Toronto ahead by five with 5:15 remaining. Trent bumped the lead to seven with two free throws.
Herro scored five consecutive points, reducing the lead to two with 3:55 left. Anunoby made a layup and a free throw and VanVleet converted a technical foul shot to give Toronto an eight-point lead with 2:53 to play. Herro's driving layup cut the lead to two with 6.7 seconds left. Anunoby's layup got the lead to four with 6.1 seconds to go.
Miami led 32-22 after one quarter.
Gabe Vincent finished the first half with a 3-pointer that gave Miami a 62-50 lead.
VanVleet scored Toronto's first 11 points of the third quarter. Siakam made a layup and a free throw with eight minutes left to cut the lead to four. Siakam made one of two free throws with 2:24 left, cutting the lead to two. Miami led 83-80 after three quarters.
