Wizards 113, Kings 97: John Wall collected 31 points and 12 assists as host Washington rallied in the second half to beat Sacramento.
Paul Pierce scored 17 points and Bradley Beal and Rasual Butler added 14 each for the Wizards, who have won three straight for their longest streak since Jan. 5-9. Marcin Gortat scored 13 points and Kevin Seraphin had 10 off the bench as Washington won its fourth straight home game.
DeMarcus Cousins scored 21 of his 30 points in the first half and fouled out in the fourth quarter for the Kings, who were without No. 2 scorer Rudy Gay (knee). Ray McCallum and Derrick Williams scored 15 points each as Sacramento dropped to 4-9 since George Karl took over as head coach.
Cousins scored seven points during an 18-2 run that helped Sacramento open a 52-34 lead with 3:18 left in the half, and his bucket just before the buzzer made it 64-46 at the break. Wall scored eight and Pierce had seven during a 19-2 spurt that brought the Wizards within 79-77 with 2:45 to play in the third, and Wall's 3-pointer in the final minute of the quarter cut it to 85-84 entering the fourth.
A Ramon Sessions 3-pointer gave Washington its first lead of the night at 89-88 with 10:11 to play and started a 16-0 run that put it away. The Kings didn't score for more than six minutes and didn't have a field goal for more than seven minutes in the fourth quarter.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The Wizards played without F Kris Humphries (groin), G Garrett Temple (hamstring) and F Nene (personal). … Washington shot 53.1 percent from the field to improve to 18-1 when shooting at least 50 percent while Sacramento has allowed five of its past seven opponents to shoot 50 percent or better. … The Kings have surrendered at least 100 points in seven straight games, including 110 or more in six of them.
