Spurs 105, Thunder 93: Tiago Splitter led a balanced attack with 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting as host San Antonio maintained its hold on first place in the Western Conference.
The Spurs recovered well from a 30-point loss at home to Portland on Friday to snap Oklahoma City's five-game winning streak, opening up a two-game lead over the Thunder in the West. Kawhi Leonard had 17 points and Danny Green made all four of his 3-pointers and scored 16.
Kevin Durant scored 26 points and Russell Westbrook had 25 for the Thunder, who committed 19 turnovers.
Oklahoma City dashed to an early 13-point lead before the hosts put together a 43-19 run over a span of 13-plus minutes. Splitter had five straight San Antonio points at one point during the surge and scored with 4:35 left in the first half to snap a 44-44 tie and give his team the lead for good.
Westbrook's 16-footer late in the third pulled the Thunder within 71-70 but Boris Diaw answered with five points in 27 seconds and Tim Duncan had a layup to make it an eight-point game. A 9-0 Spurs run to begin the fourth, capped by Green's third 3-pointer, made it 92-74 and Oklahoma City never threatened again en route to its third-most lopsided loss of the season.
GAME NOTEBOOK: F Serge Ibaka had 13 points and 16 rebounds for the Thunder, who held a 43-35 advantage on the boards. ... The teams play for the fourth and final time April 4 in Oklahoma City ... Between the fourth quarter of their loss to Portland and the first 9:31 of this one, the Spurs were outscored 73-38.
