Paul Millsap scored 12 of his 27 points in overtime as the Utah Jazz recorded a 103-99 victory over the host Houston Rockets on Saturday.
Millsap scored Utah’s final 10 points for the Jazz (25-13), who broke a two-game losing streak.
Al Jefferson added 24 points and 13 rebounds as Utah rallied from a double-digit deficit for the 12th time this season.
Luis Scola had 24 points and 10 rebounds and Kevin Martin scored 20 points for Houston (16-21), which has lost five straight games.
Martin hit two free throws with 27.5 seconds left to force overtime. Utah had taken a two-point lead six seconds earlier on Andrei Kirilenko’s two free throws.
C.J. Miles scored 16 points and Deron Williams had 14 points and 15 assists. Millsap had 10 rebounds as the Jazz had a 53-42 edge on the boards.
The Rockets led 52-38 at halftime but Utah got back into the game by outscoring Houston 26-15 in the third quarter. The Jazz’s largest deficit was 16 points.
