Boris Diaw finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds and Gerald Wallace had 21 points and 14 rebounds as the Charlotte Bobcats defeated the visiting Houston Rockets 99-89 on Friday.
Diaw ignited a late Charlotte run and Wallace matched his season rebounding high as the Bobcats (6-10) rallied from a seven-point halftime deficit.
Chase Budinger scored a season-high 19 points for the Rockets (4-11).
The Bobcats trailed 84-82 after Budinger made two free throws with five minutes left. But Diaw hit a jumper to start an 11-0 run as Charlotte won at home for just the third time in eight attempts.
Stephen Jackson added 16 points and Nazr Mohammed scored 13 points for Charlotte. D.J. Augustin had 11 assists.
Charlotte outscored the Rockets 27-16 in the third quarter to take a four-point lead into the final period.
Budinger had 11 first-half points to help Houston to a 52-45 halftime lead. Kevin Martin scored 16 points for the Rockets and Jordan Hill added 14.
