Dwyane Wade scored 34 points and LeBron James added 25 and nine assists Tuesday as the Miami Heat used a big second half to sprint past the Milwaukee Bucks, 101-89, for their seventh straight victory.
Chris Bosh chipped in 19 points and 12 rebounds for the Heat, who have won 19 of their last 20 games.
Miami has made a habit lately of allowing teams to get out in front in the first half before turning up the defensive intensity after the break and cruising to victories. That was pretty much the formula again on Tuesday, as the Bucks went for 31 points in the second quarter and took a 51-47 lead into the locker room.
The Heat closed that gap three minutes into the third period on back-to-back baskets by James and took the lead for good when James Jones drained a 3-pointer late in the frame.
The fourth quarter belonged to Wade, who scored 10 points during a 12-4 spurt to begin the period and finished with 17 in the session as Miami pulled away.
John Salmons scored 18 points and Andrew Bogut added 16 and eight boards for Milwaukee, which was outscored 54-38 in the second half.
