Garrett Hampson homered, C.J. Cron had three hits, and the Colorado Rockies beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 9-4 in Denver on Friday night.
Connor Joe and Brendan Rodgers had two hits each for Colorado, which has won eight straight home games.
Ketel Marte homered among his two hits and Asdrubal Cabrera, Pavin Smith and Josh Rojas had two hits each for Arizona.
Diamondbacks starter Tyler Gilbert, who threw a no-hitter in his first career start on Aug. 14, allowed four runs on nine hits in five innings.
The Rockies took the lead in the second. With two outs, Elias Diaz reached on an infield single and Hampson homered to center, his seventh, to make it 2-0.
The Diamondbacks answered in the third. With two outs, Carson Kelly walked, Smith singled and Christian Walker walked to load the bases. Rojas singled to shallow left to drive in Kelly and Smith to tie it up.
Colorado took the lead again in the bottom of the inning, as Trevor Story tripled to right field and scored on Charlie Blackmon's single.
Marte hit a two-out solo homer in the top of the fourth, his ninth, but the Rockies struck again in their half of the inning. Diaz walked, moved to second on Austin Gomber's sacrifice bunt and scored on a single by Joe to make it 4-3.
Gomber pitched a perfect fifth -- his only clean inning -- and was taken out after 88 pitches. He allowed three runs on six hits, walked three and struck out three.
Arizona came back in the sixth against Robert Stephenson (1-1). Drew Ellis led off with a single and scored on pinch-hitter David Peralta's triple to tie the game at 4-4.
However, Colorado responded in the bottom of the inning against Brett de Geus (2-2). Hampson walked, pinch hitter Sam Hilliard tripled and Joe doubled to put the Rockies ahead 6-4.
The Diamondbacks threatened in the eighth, but Marte was thrown out at home trying to score from first on a double by Cabrera.
Colorado added three runs in the eighth on a sacrifice fly by Blackmon and a two-run double from Cron.
