The Rays have won the first two games of the three-game series and will try for a sweep on Wednesday afternoon.

Ryne Stanek started on the mound for the Rays, pitching two perfect innings with three strikeouts. He was replaced by Austin Pruitt (2-3), who allowed one run and four hits with one strikeout in 2 2/3 innings to earn the win.

Sergio Romo pitched around a single in the ninth inning to earn his second save of the season.

Toronto left-hander Jaime Garcia (2-5) gave up four runs, four hits and four walks while striking out four in five-plus innings. Garcia has not won since April 17, a span of nine starts in which he has five losses.

The Rays took a 2-0 lead in the third inning. Rob Refsnyder led off with a walk, then was forced at second on a grounder by Matt Duffy. Ramos followed with his eighth homer of the season.

The Blue Jays scored a run in the fifth. Randal Grichuk led off with an infield single to third, extending his hitting streak to six games. Aledmys Diaz singled to right and took second on the throw as Grichuk took third. Devon Travis picked up an RBI on a groundout to second.

Left-hander Johnny Venters replaced Pruitt and walked pinch hitter Kendrys Morales before ending the inning on a groundout to shortstop by Yangervis Solarte.

Tampa Bay's Chaz Roe pitched around a walk in the sixth.

Garcia failed to get an out in the bottom of the sixth, giving up a walk to C.J. Cron and a double to Willy Adames. Joe Biagini entered and allowed RBI singles to pinch hitter Joey Wendle and Mallex Smith.

Left-hander Jose Alvarado replaced Roe with one out in the top of the seventh and retired five batters in a row through the top of the eighth.

Toronto's Tyler Clippard pitched a perfect bottom of the seventh, and left-hander Aaron Loup survived a single in the bottom of the eighth.
