Angels 5, Twins 2: Erick Aybar went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored while Kole Calhoun drove in a pair of runs as Los Angeles remained perfect through the first five contests of its six-game homestand.

C.J. Cron recorded two hits and an RBI while Grant Green and Howie Kendrick each plated a run for the Angels, who have won 11 of their last 12 home games. Garrett Richards (8-2) extended his personal winning streak to four contests as he limited Minnesota to two runs on four hits and five walks over 7 1/3 innings.

Oswaldo Arcia homered and former Angel Kendrys Morales had an RBI single for the Twins, who have lost two straight following a four-game winning streak. Yohan Pino (0-1) was tagged for five runs and seven hits over three frames in his second major-league start - and appearance.

Minnesota grabbed an early lead as Arcia ended his 0-for-31 slide with a one-out solo shot in the second inning. The Angels answered quickly, scoring three times in the bottom half on Green's sacrifice fly and a two-run double by Calhoun.

Los Angeles added a pair of runs in the third to extend its lead to four. Albert Pujols led off with a single and Josh Hamilton doubled before a sacrifice fly by Aybar and Kendrick's RBI base hit.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Twins rookie SS Danny Santana was lifted for a pinch runner after hitting a double in the third inning due to a leg injury. The double was Minnesota's last hit until Joe Mauer singled with one out in the eighth. ... Arcia's hitless streak was the longest by a Twin since Greg Gagne's 0-for-32 stretch in 1991. ... Richards has allowed a total of four runs over 34 1/3 innings in his last five starts.
