Orioles 2, Blue Jays 1 (12): Steve Lombardozzi tripled and David Lough delivered a walk-off single in the 12th inning as host Baltimore evened its three-game set with Toronto.

After Colby Rasmus tied the game for the Blue Jays with a solo shot on the potential final pitch of the game in the bottom of the ninth, J.J. Hardy opened the 12th with a line-drive out to right before Lombardozzi came through with his fifth career triple to deep center off Todd Redmond (0-1). Three pitches later, Lough lined a single into left to plate the winning run.

Zach Britton (2-0) allowed one walk over the final two frames to get the decision and protect a solid start by right-hander Bud Norris, who tossed seven scoreless frames before Tommy Hunter blew his first save opportunity on Rasmus’ blast. Lombardozzi and Lough each finished with two hits while Lough and Jonathan Schoop drove in both of the Orioles’ runs.

Toronto starter Drew Hutchison stranded two runners in three of the six innings he worked while Norris kept a pair from scoring in two of his first three frames before he departed after 105 pitches. Baltimore ended the scoreless draw in the seventh off reliever Neil Wagner, getting a two-out single from Lough before Schoop drove a 3-2 fastball into the gap in right-center.

The Blue Jays, who put at least one runner on in the second through eighth innings, finally got on the board with Rasmus’ 100th career home run. Melky Cabrera was the only Blue Jay to tally two hits while Jose Bautista drew three walks.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Cabrera singled in his second at-bat, allowing him to notch a hit in 12 straight games and match Vernon Wells for the longest hitting streak to open a season by a Blue Jay since 2006. … Baltimore has been limited to two runs and 14 hits (including three extra-base hits) over the first two games of this series after accumulating 19 runs on 32 hits (and 10 extra-base hits) while winning the previous two games. … Norris entered Saturday with a 3-9 record and a 5.40 ERA in 17 career starts with six or more days of rest.
