Dodgers 6, Rockies 2: Rookie Hyun-Jin Ryu struck out a career-high 12 in six innings and recorded his first major-league RBI while Hanley Ramirez homered on his Bobblehead Night as host Los Angeles evened the three-game series.

Jerry Hairston Jr. had three hits and an RBI while Ramirez, Matt Kemp, and Nick Punto each had two hits and an RBI for the Dodgers, who scored two runs in each of the first three innings and had 13 hits. Ryu (3-1) yielded two runs and three hits while reaching six innings for the sixth time in six major-league starts.

Carlos Gonzalez homered in the first inning and Michael Cuddyer added an RBI double for the Rockies, who lost for the seventh time in their last 10 games. Jorge De La Rosa (2-3) allowed six runs and 11 hits in four innings after yielding only six runs in his previous four starts.

Three consecutive singles - capped by Kemp's run-scoring hit to center - were followed by Adrian Gonzalez's sacrifice fly in the first inning. Hairston and Punto delivered two-out RBI singles in the second.

With one out in the third inning, Ramirez crushed De La Rosa's first-pitch fastball into the left-field pavilion seats. De La Rosa walked Juan Uribe intentionally three batters later before Ryu worked a seven-pitch at-bat and produced a two-out RBI single to right.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Rockies SS Troy Tulowitzki missed his second straight game after leaving Sunday's contest in Arizona when he suffered a shoulder strain while sliding awkwardly into home plate. He is expected to return to the lineup Wednesday. ...
