Dodgers 6, Rockies 2: Rookie Elian Herrera and Andre Ethier each had two hits and two RBIs as visiting Los Angeles snapped a five-game losing streak.
Aaron Harang (4-3) allowed one run in six innings and Bobby Abreu hit his first homer of the year as the Dodgers snapped Colorado's winning streak at five games.
Harang limited the Rockies to four hits in beating them for the second time in three weeks. The Rockies had scored in double digits in three straight games and amassed 53 runs during their winning streak.
Rockies starter Juan Nicasio (2-3) suffered a strained left knee and had to leave the game with two outs in the second inning. He allowed three runs on four hits to fall to 0-3 in his last six starts.
Herrera was the last batter Nicasio faced, drilling a two-run single through the pitcher's legs that put Los Angeles ahead to stay 3-1.
Michael Cuddyer and Wilin Rosario had RBI doubles for the Rockies, who dropped 10 1/2 games behind the division-leading Dodgers in the NL West.
