Dodgers 5, Angels 2: Juan Rivera snapped a tie with a three-run homer in the eighth inning and finished with four RBIs as the Dodgers ended the Angels’ 10-game road winning streak.

Andre Ethier, who received a five-year, $85 million contract extension earlier Tuesday, tied the game with a two-out single before Rivera crushed Jerome Williams’ next pitch into the left field pavilion as the Dodgers snapped a five-game home losing streak.

Jamey Wright (3-2) pitched a scoreless eighth inning and Kenley Jansen worked the ninth to earn his 10th save in 13 chances.

Williams (6-4) allowed five runs, six hits and struck out seven in 7 2/3 innings. He also doubled and scored.

The Dodgers’ Aaron Harang allowed two unearned runs, six hits, walked four and struck out five in seven innings.

Albert Pujols went 2-for-5 - his seventh straight multi-hit game - for the Angels, who had their four-game overall winning streak snapped. Pujols is 14 for his last 31.

Williams doubled in the third inning and scored when Kendrys Morales reached on second baseman Adam Kennedy’s fielding error with two outs.

Rivera’s RBI single in the fourth inning tied the game.

The Angels took a 2-1 lead in the sixth inning when Morales scored after shortstop Dee Gordon dropped Kennedy’s throw to second on a fielder’s choice grounder by Williams with two outs.
