Giants 7, Phillies 2: Brandon Crawford blasted a grand slam in the sixth inning and Tim Lincecum tossed seven solid frames as visiting San Francisco posted its sixth win in seven outings.
After Pablo Sandoval's sacrifice fly snapped a 1-1 tie, Crawford provided quite the cushion just two batters later. The light-hitting shortstop deposited an inside fastball from Vance Worley (5-6) into the seats in right-center field for his third homer of the season and the fifth of his career.
Ryan Theriot had four hits and Crawford capped his five-RBI night with a run-scoring single in the eighth inning for the National League West-leading Giants, who handed the Phillies their second straight loss following a four-game winning streak.
After a brutal first half of the season, Lincecum (4-10) avenged an April 16 loss to Philadelphia by allowing just two runs on five hits. The two-time National League Cy Young Award winner improved to 5-2 in his career versus the Phillies.
Ryan Howard belted his second homer since returning from a serious Achilles injury and Shane Victorino scored on a balk for Philadelphia.
Worley yielded six runs on as many hits in six innings to take the loss.
GAME NOTEBOOK: San Francisco's Melky Cabrera saw his consecutive multi-hit games streak end at four after going 1-for-5. Cabrera has seven such contests in his last 11 outings. ... Prior to the game, Phillies C Carlos Ruiz was honored with the MLBPA Heart and Hustle Award. ... Worley tossed a career-high 119 pitches.
