Julio Borbon pushed across the go-ahead run with a bunt single in the seventh and Cliff Lee made a strong return to the rotation as the Texas Rangers completed a three-game sweep of the New York Yankees with a 4-1 win on Sunday.

Elvis Andrus, Michael Young and David Murphy each drove in a run for the Rangers, who decreased their magic number to clinch the American League West to 13.

Tied at 1-1 after the sixth inning, Texas finally got a rally going against Dustin Moseley (4-3) in the seventh when Ian Kinsler led off with a walk and moved to third on consecutive deep flyouts. Borbon followed with his bunt single to give the Rangers the lead, then promptly stole second and came in to score on Andrus’ single to center. Young capped the rally with an RBI single to right.

Lee (11-8) had a no-hitter through five innings surrendered just two hits and one run in the contest, walking two and striking out five in eight-plus innings. The left-hander had his last turn in the rotation skipped due to shoulder soreness and had been knocked around in his four previous starts.

Neftali Feliz got the final three outs for his 36th save of the season.

The loss left the Yankees one game up on Tampa Bay in the AL East race. The Rays fell 5-4 to the Toronto Blue Jays.
